Puglian Passion

I have written several articles for the site Charming Italy about things to see and do in Puglia over the past few months. Here are a few of my most recent reports (just click on the words highlighted in red to link to the full article):

Fioroni, Fruit of the Gods - If you've never heard of fioroni, you don't know what you are missing!

Figs aren't your thing? Why not try some local Railroad Cherries?

Looking for the perfect summer holiday spot? Why not visit Vieste?

Or combine your love of nature with a day at the beach at the Torre Guaceto Nature Preserve . . .

Puglia is a beautiful region, I'm it's #1 fan!

Wow! Huge cherries! The picture of the big rock just off the beach reminds me of Acitrezza here in Sicily. The beach looks better where you are though.

Yummy. We had a fig tree in our yard when we lived in Turkey. I have always loved them. Love cherries too. Fun post!Hopping over from SITS. Hugs!

Fa L'Americana - those cherries are SO good, you have to try them! Puglia has lots of neat beaches with rock bridges and such...come on over for a visit!

Katherine - Summer fruit is the best. Thanks for stopping by!

Caren - I think it would depend a lot on the climate where you live, they probably wouldn't survive a winter freeze. Thanks for following!
